We are a church-not a social club, political organization, nor an entertainment center, but a church. So what does that mean? We believe that our church should be characterized by discipleship, expositional text-driven preaching, corporate worship, missions and evangelism, fellowship, and prayer. These categories of church life are not rigid and can be described in several different ways. At ORBC, we describe the elements of the church like this:

Ovilla Road Baptist Church is a Christ-centered church who seeks to love God, love people, and reach the world as we faithfully fulfill the calling God has placed on our church.
