ORBC exists to ignite a passion for the worship of God in all of life resulting in the proclamation of Jesus to all people.
BECAUSE GOD’S SPIRIT HAS DRAWN US, to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves to one another as one body in Christ:
IN OUR CHURCH WE WILL:
- Walk together in Christian love;
- Grow together in knowledge, holiness and love;
- Join together in worship, fellowship, and faith.
IN OUR STEWARDSHIP WE WILL:
- Know that God owns everything, and that all we have is entrusted to us for wise use to bring glory to God;
- Give cheerfully to support the ministry, help the poor, and spread the gospel throughout all nations.
IN OUR HOMES WE WILL:
- Worship together as a family;
- Bring up our children in the truth and love of Christ;
- Pray for the salvation of our family and friends.
IN OUR CONDUCT WE WILL:
- Practice what we teach;
- Be just in our dealings;
- Be faithful in our commitments;
- Guard our words and our attitudes;
- Zealously advance the kingdom of Christ;
- Cherish and maintain unity among one another.
IN OUR RELATIONSHIPS TO FELLOW MEMBERS WE WILL:
- Watch over one another in brotherly love;
- Pray for one another;
- Help one another in sickness and distress;
- Speak kindly and truthfully to one another;
- Be slow to take offense, and always ready for reconciliation.
