Senior Pastor

Drew Erickson

Ovilla Road Baptist Church is delighted to have Drew Erickson as our new Senior Pastor.

Minister of Worship

Jeff Todd

was born in Denham Springs Louisiana, and raised in the Baptist realm all of his life. He was saved at age 7, and he knew he wanted to be a minister of music by 3rd grade.

Playing the piano for the church and choir by 8th grade gave Jeff leadership roles at an early age. He continued his love for music and ministry and received a Bachelor’s degree in music from Northeast Louisiana University. He furthered his education and received a Masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

The last year of seminary is when Jeff found his way to Ovilla Road Baptist Church. (1984) He has been there ever since fulfilling roles as Children’s Ministry Leader, Youth Leader, Education, Worship and Fine Arts Minister and Office Manager.

Jeff’s true desire in the Baptist Realm was to teach Baptists that music is more than just a few songs before the message. He wants people to experience the Majesty and Glory of the Heavenly Father, to exalt Jesus through Praise and Worship and to learn to draw near to Him. Music and the Fine Arts is what he has been gifted in to help draw people into the presence of the Lord.

The past 27 years at Ovilla Road Baptist church has been an incredible journey for Jeff He gives God all glory and honor and thanks the people at ORBC for loving him and his family for all of these years. He also thanks his wife, Angie, and his 5 children Melissa, Melanie, Michael, Mitchell, and Mekaylee for loving and supporting his ministry all of these years.

Youth Pastor

Bryan Glover

Was born and raised in Atlanta, Texas. After high school graduation he moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and attended college while working at Six Flags Over Texas. Upon getting plugged into his college group he gave his life to Christ and became a lifelong follower. It was also during this time that he sensed God calling him into the ministry that would come to be several years down the road.

After he graduated from the University of North Texas in 1995, Bryan and Cindy got married March of 1996. After marriage “they loaded up a truck and moved to Bev…” San Antonio that is, to work full time jobs at the Six Flags Fiesta park in San Antonio. After being employed with Fiesta Texas for two years God began shifting the calling in his life.

It wasn’t long before Bryan and Cindy moved to Fort Worth so that he could enter seminary on a full time basis. God also began to use Bryan’s desire for singing and music and began to give him opportunities to lead worship for various churches. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003, and September 2004 God called Bryan to Ovilla Road Baptist Church to be the Youth Pastor.

Bryan and Cindy have two boys that are two years apart and love to wrestle. Bryan loves pizza, cheeseburgers with mustard only, chips and salsa (not as much picante) and tex-mex. He is a homer fan and loves watching the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and the Dallas Mavericks. He loves spending time with his wife and boys and trying to keep their art work on his office wall. He has a desire and passion to lead by example, encouraging his youth to live out their faith in Christ.
