Leaders in Training (L.I.T.) & Nehemiah Kids

Nehemiah Kids (Grades 1st-3rd)
Nehemiah was the cupbearer at the court of King Artaxerxes. Before Nehemiah became a leader of the people of Israel, he was a servant to the king. He served the king faithfully. As a result of his faithfulness, the king allowed Nehemiah to leave his service and return to Jerusalem to rebuild the wall of the city. Nehemiah became one of the great leaders of his time because he followed God’s plan for his life. Nehemiah Kids (N.K.) is ministry with a purpose. The objective is to see boys and girls grow in their walk of faith through spiritual disciplines and ministry involvement and to support families in the process of discipling their children.

Leaders in Training (L.I.T.)
Leaders In Training is a discipleship ministry for children in the 5th and 6th (or 4th and 5th) grades. L.I.T. is an effective program that encourages rapid personal growth in preteens through teaching spiritual disciplines and equipping students for ministry. By teaching spiritual disciplines, L.I.T. helps preteens learn how to have a relationship with Christ and how to walk with Him on a daily basis. The L.I.T. student devotionals work through the disciplines of The Cross and teach preteens and their families what it means to live a life of obedience to Christ.
