READ ALONG WITH US
The New Year is a great opportunity to start a Bible Reading Plan. There will be many that will be presented to you that are great; but, if you attend ORBC we highly encourage you to read along with our plan. Why?
God designed the church to be the primary place of accountability. Reading along with your church body makes it easy to be accountable to one another concerning our time spent in Scripture.
When the majority of our congregation is reading the same thing it brings about mutual delight and enjoyment in the Word of God and makes for great conversation with one another.
Pastor Matt will often refer to what was read in the Bible Reading Plan in sermons. It makes it even sweeter when you have read along with the church for the week and then hear it on a Sunday morning.
The goal of the Bible Reading Plan is to grow our love for the Lord together, as a church, and enjoy the unity that it brings us. Through the Bible Reading Plan we want to show how God’s plan of redeeming the world plays out through each page of scripture.
